Experience | I have and continue to work in the literature field including theatre script writing, music & lyrics and short stories. I am in two music bands at the moment: gospel and mainstream and indigenous music, I play a variety of musical instruments and styles. I am currently manager of a rural library and we focus on community needs and aspirations. We host a lot of events and encourage young people to interact with Elders, Men’s and Women’s Groups as we see them as Mentors in the community. At the moment I am working on an album of original music and a script I developed through receiving a writing scholarship.

Accomplishments | Over the last 35 years I have been involved in bands and theatre and last year upon receiving a scholarship from JUTE in Cairns. I have been working on a story of the establishment of our town as well as exploring short script writing. My major accomplishments have been my children and grannies of whom I have written songs about and included as models in my stories. Hopefully one day I will get some of my works published
