Master of ceremonies
Megan Norris – mother of 5, grandmother of 1.5, started performing on stage at the age of 4. Dancing in concerts and competing in eisteddfods for 10 years, at 11years old she was selected to dance on the Gold Coast at Seagulls Rugby Leagues Club in a pantomime called, ‘The Land of the Christmas Stocking’.
At 15 she swapped out dance for drama, competing in eisteddfods. At 18 she joined Mackay Musical Comedy Players and performed in several musicals. She then joined Kucom Theatre and acted in a couple of productions with them.
Speech and Drama became a culture in her family over the past 20 years, as she coached her children in the art and has had several other students see lots of success at eisteddfods in solos, duologues and group work, including mime, Shakespeare, poetry and characterisation.
