Arts Central Queensland Inc. invites professional performers with the following playing age ranges* to register to audition for Rockpocalypse, a new work of Australian theatre based in Rockhampton:
- Player 1, playing range 25 – 45 years
- Player 2, playing range 25 – 45 years
- Player 3, playing range 35 – 55 years
- Ensemble 1, playing range 25 – 55 years
- Ensemble 2, playing range 25 – 55 years
The Rockpocalypse project will include the creative development and production of a new work of professional theatre. Based on playwright Jessica Lamb’s research into games and theatre, the project is the final installment of a three-year creative development process conducted with members of the Rockhampton community.
Successful auditionees will be required for performance calls on Friday November 22, Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24, with creative development conducted throughout late August – September and rehearsals through late October – November.
This is a paid engagement at industry rates. It is requested that interested parties carefully consider their own availability prior to applying, as successful applicants are expected to adhere to the production schedule.
Auditions will be held on Sunday August 10 at the Rockhampton Girls Grammar School, cnr. Agnes and Denham Streets, The Range. All candidates are asked to register to audition by Wednesday August 7.
